Lanrey Akins Fashion and jewellery was founded by Mr. Olanrewaju Akinyemi .The creative owner of the highly exclusive brand hails from Oyo State, Nigeria. It was in the youthful adolescent stage of his life that he took a like to all aspects of style. He initially began modelling in pursuit of his desired goal to be a Great designer. He later signed up with G3 Modelling Agency Johannesburg, South Africa. This exposed him to the fashion world. G3 gave him opportunities to acquaint himself with brands for both local and international designers. He took part in fashion week events and used this as a platform to network and mingle with some of South Africa’s top designers. As he grew in the fashion world he became the personal stylist to many in the corporate world and a selected few of Johannesburg’s socialites , he also went on to model in music videos and also styled these too. A few years later, 2011 the label LANREY AKINS was born into the fashion world . With the vast knowledge inherited over the years, he did extensive research into the industry’s trends and incorporated his own classy and original take to finally design his first line of haute couture line. He put together a timeless range for stylish individuals who have as much passion for fashion that he has to tailor his attires. The logo of the brand chosen by the fashionista is an image of a lion.
